ABOUT POST2000TALKS: 
Cycle of conferences architecture related starting in Lisbon during Fall 2010, parallel to the ongoing city major event 'Triennal of Architecture of Lisbon'. Its purpose is the display and exchange of different architecture experiences worldwide. The guests represent a generation of young professionals whom started their own office/research practices after the year 2000. The program is defined by a continuous line-up of lectures, presentations and debates. This cycle is a collaboration between JA-Project and the think-tank NOGO, and hosted by Galeria Luis Serpa Projectos, all based in Lisbon.

THE ORGANIZATION:
JA-PROJECT — was established in 2010 by Jutta Rentsch and Andre Serpa to combine their practice of Architecture, Design and 3D-Visualization, for creating a multidisciplinary and open office structure. This concept is based on forming partnerships with the creative industry in order of becoming a collaborative platform which manages ongoing practices with clients as well as events and exhibitions. JA-PROJECT is a skilled, dedicated and professional partnership, working to ensure the highest standards by utilizing a close communication at all time with clients and partners. JA-PROJECT is a partner of O MUSEU TEMPORARIO, Lisbon.

NOGO THINK-TANK AND PROJECT-ROOM is a platform for Architecture & Contemporary Art based in Lisbon, Portugal. Its goal is the disclosure and exhibition of new production on Visual Arts and emergent Architecture, both at national and international levels. Through its concept, NOGO proposes a dynamic and diversified program producing exhibitions, screenings, lectures and publications on artistic, cultural, experimental and research projects. Its structure is made by a core of resident curators, also receiving invited curators for occasional events. NOGO is a registered brand, and a non-profit cultural association founded by Pedro Duarte Bento in 2009.


THE HOST:
GALERIA LUIS SERPA PROJECTOS is a project founded by Luis Serpa in the early eighties. Developed as an original model of art gallery it, was considered as a “case study” because it systematically combined the disciplines of painting, sculpture, drawing, installation, photography, video, design and architecture. He internationalized artists such as Cristina Iglesias, Juan Muñoz, José María Sicilia, Ferran Garcia Sevilla, Juliao Sarmento, Pedro Cabrita Reis and Jorge Molder among others. Well known foreign artists has been presented in Portugal, such as Leiko Ikemura, Joseph Kosuth, Gerhard Merz, Michelangelo Pistoletto, Gilberto Zorio, Hamish Fulton, Robert Wilson, Robert Mapplethorpe, Marie-Jo Lafontaine, Craigie Horsfield, Boyd Webb, John Coplans and Cindy Sherman.
