Isabelle Bentz presents Hosoya Schaefer Architects [Switzerland]
March 29th 2011, Tuesday, from 7.00 to 9.00pm

About "Open Format":

Today, many ideas and informations about how to construct a sustainable and mobile future are available. How can complex relations of information be communicated to a broader audience? What are possible formats to make this knowledge digestible? Isabelle Bentz presents research-based projects developed at the media department of Hosoya Schaefer architects, Zurich.

MobiGlobe is a media installation for the Volkswagen Autostadt in Wolfsburg. It is showing mobility as the systemic interplay between transportation, city, structure, resource flows and lifestyle. Therefore, several visionary thinkers have been accompanied and interviewed all over the world. They are addressing questions such as the future of mobility and it’s impact on urban planning and the organization of individual lives. A film, projected on six over-sized screens, compiles interviews, 3D animations and film footage within a complex screen choreography. Meanwhile, interactive stations are providing details and background information.
